Power Steering Reservoir

BMW power steering reservoirs serve a few different functions. They have an integrated filter which removed shavings/dirt from the fluid. The reservoir also allows a place for the fluid to collect and cool as well. Over time, these reservoirs can crack which can cause a catastrophic power steering system failure. Additionally, the reservoir houses the filter which is non serviceable. Reservoirs should be changed at regular intervals for best function and long term reliability of the power steering system. Reservoir comes with cap, cap seal, and integrated filter.
