M54 330i Lower Intake Boot

Between air box and throttle body with hose branching off to accommodate idle control valve.

This rubber intake boot attaches to the throttle body and the idle control valve. The rubber in this boot is known to get very hard and brittle over time and can tear. If this boot tears un-metered air can enter the engine resulting in poor performance and other issues. If your BMW is idling hard or has poor power we recommend inspecting this boot for tears. If the boot is torn we recommend immediate replacement.
