M54 Return Pipe (PCV)

This hose runs from the valve cover to a connector on the upper PCV hose

This hose runs from the front of the intake manifold and connects to the nipple on the connecting hose on the intake distribution piece. This comes as an insulated pipe on all BMW models and runs parallel to the fuel rail on top of the intake manifold. Often times, this piece will get filled with gunk and needs to be replaced. Since it sits so close to the engine it is also known to dry rot and fail.
